Signature Barbie The Gala’s Best the very last doll from the Silkstone series

In 2020 Barbie celebrates the 20th anniversary of the the glamourous Silkstone series. And at the same time Mattel is releasing the very last Silkstone Barbie doll. This is the end of the BFMC series. And the very last one is Barbie The Gala’s Best doll. She is inspired by an OOAK doll design by Robert Best.
She’s dressed in a Dresden blue gown with a strapless corset bodice, full layered tulle skirt and dainty pink organza flowers accents. A matching blue organza petticoat with taffeta ruffled trim billows beneath the gown. Her dramatic up-do hairstyle frames her face and highlights her golden, pearl-drop earrings.
